"Are your Honeybees not so sweet?"
"Are your Honeybees not so sweet?"
In Nature, bees play an integral role with pollination of plants and flowers, and can be relatively harmless as they go about their daily work. Bees encountered in flowers or shrubbery are not usually aggressive because their home is not nearby to protect. Occasionally, however, scout bees select an opening in your home or other structure and build large hives which can present health and safety concerns for your family, and damage to your home. Bees become very aggressive when they sense a threat at, or nearby the hive. After bees are discovered in the home or structure, removal by professional bee services is necessary. The Strikeforce Pest Control Company can provide professional, affordable beehive removal so your family can enjoy the home and its surroundings safely, without threat of swarm or attack by bees.
"How did I get bees?"
As bees on a hive multiply, and the hive grows larger, eventually communication of worker bees with the Queen is hampered and food and hive over-heating problems begin. A new, second Queen is formed to remain with the original hive. Scouts are sent to locate a suitable place for formation of a new hive. Once found, the hive splits with the original Queen leaving with half of the worker bees to relocate. Although its not common to see bees in transition, occasionally moving bees can be seen as a swarm, which is the Queen and her workers traveling in a circular motion to their new destination. Sometimes, they will stop briefly in a tree or bush while traveling. Although uncommon, occasionally the new hive location selected is your home. That's where we can help with our bee hive removal service.
"Are bees dangerous?"
Most of us have been stung by a bee or wasp. The sting is painful, and avoiding bees near your home is a dangerous nuisance. While docile in open areas as they gather pollen, bees are very protective of their hive and its immediate area. Once a threat is detected, bees emit an attack pheromone which causes worker bees to attack the motion or threat by the hundreds. Safety concerns, as well as damage to property from hive construction, honey, mildew, and natural attractant for other rodents and insects make bees a costly problem for your home.
If you believe you have an unwelcome hive of these little guests, call for a bee hive removal inspection. Our technicians, and our bee hive removal service, will help return your home to a safe place for your family to enjoy.
